    • All Cell Phone: No state bans all cell phone use for all drivers, but 38 states and D.C. ban all cell phone use by novice or teen drivers, and 21 states and D.C. prohibit any cell phone use for school bus drivers.
    • Text Messaging: 48 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands ban text messaging for all drivers.
      • Missouri prohibits text messaging by novice or teen drivers.

    Question #3: If You’re Using a Hand-held Device, How Much More Likely Are You To Be In A Car Accident?

    The shocking truth- you are 4x more likely to get in a car accident when using a hand-held device. 

    These statists come from the World Health Organization. It is so important to stay safe on the road and not use your cell phone! Remember that your life is precious. 

    Question #4: Is It True That If You Use A Headset While Driving You’re No Longer At Risk For Distracted Driving Accidents?

    The answer: False

    According to this case study by the national safety Council “ drivers using cell phones look but fail to see up to 50 percent of the information in their driving environment.”

    Question #5: Which Group Of Drivers Has The Highest Percentage Of Fatal Car Crashes Due to Cell Phone Use?

    The answer to this question is teenagers!

    According to teens are considered the most distracted of all drivers. Maybe it’s all those growing pains. In fact, 16% of all drivers under 20 years old get in car accidents because they were distracted.
